Risk Analysis
Risk analysis is the foundation of your audit program. LOQI's AI analyzes your documents to identify risks, which you review and use to generate a targeted audit program.
How it works
- You upload relevant documents (policies, prior reports, regulations)
- The AI extracts risk items from those documents
- Each risk item gets a category, risk level, and rationale with citations
- You review, adjust, and approve the risk scores
- The approved risk analysis drives audit program generation
Uploading documents for analysis
In the Planning tab, open the risk analysis section:
- Drag and drop files or click to browse — supports PDF, Word, Excel, and CSV
- LOQI processes each document automatically (extracting text and creating searchable chunks)
- Wait for processing to complete before gathering intelligence
Upload documents that relate to the audit area — policies, procedures, prior audit reports, regulatory requirements, and process documentation. The more relevant the input, the better the AI's risk identification.
Gathering intelligence
Click Gather Intelligence to start the AI analysis. LOQI:
- Reads through all uploaded documents
- Identifies risk items and categorizes them
- Assigns preliminary risk levels (High, Moderate, Low)
- Provides a rationale for each risk with citations to source documents
The intelligence panel shows extracted risk items in a table.
Reviewing risk items
Each risk item in the table shows:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Risk Category | The area of risk (e.g., "Credit Risk", "Compliance") |
| Risk Level | High, Moderate, or Low |
| Rationale | AI explanation of why this risk was identified, with citations |
| Auditor Notes | Your own comments and adjustments |
You can:
- Edit risk levels and notes inline
- Dismiss items that aren't relevant
- Add new risk items manually
- Expand any item to see the full rationale and source citations
Stale data
If you upload new documents after running intelligence, LOQI shows a banner indicating the analysis may be out of date. Click Update to re-run the analysis with all current documents.
