Engagement Documents

Engagement documents are files uploaded for a specific audit — evidence, working papers, client-provided materials, and other audit-specific records.

Uploading documents

  1. Go to the Documents tab in an engagement
  2. Drag and drop files or click to browse
  3. Select one or more files (PDF, Word, Excel, CSV, images)
  4. Files are uploaded and processing begins automatically

Document categories

Each engagement document can be categorized:

PolicyPolicies relevant to this specific audit
RegulationRegulatory requirements being tested against
ReferenceOther supporting materials

The category determines how the document is treated during AI analysis and citation.

Auto-analysis

After processing, LOQI automatically analyzes engagement documents to extract:

  • Key topics and themes
  • Potential risk indicators
  • Control-related information

You can view the analysis by clicking View Analysis in the document row.

Using documents in testing

Engagement documents can be used during testing:

  • Link documents as evidence for specific procedures
  • Select documents for exception extraction — the AI reads the document and identifies potential test failures
  • Reference documents in workpaper narratives
